Project Description

New build of DAERA HQ Ballykelly complex. Architectural intent was to use a 4mm CCM copper composite and integrate it into our RF50 Rainscreen system. Spanwall were awarded the contract to provide their RF50 Rainscreen system using 4mm CCM Copper composite panels. This included standard panels, cranked panels and cranked corner panels.

Company Role

RF50 Rainscreen is Spanwall’s fully tested system. This encompasses everything from the wall bracket out to the panel face. Our client Walsin relied heavily on our expertise using CCM products on this project, as it is a material they had not dealt with before. The process involved the routing and profiling of each CCM flat pattern panel and assembling each individual panel using colour matched fixings. This project required a lot of design input from the Spanwall team to ensure a premium quality end result. Because of the nature of the assembled panels, our dispatch department took special care to ensure no damage was caused during transportation.
